Spinjo suits New Zealand players after a large pokies lobby, an account in NZD and a cashier where every method on the Payments page is marked free. It also suits anyone happy to skip a bonus with a short clock rather than chase one, and who can live with the rule that every deposit is played three times before it can be withdrawn.

How we checked: we read the Terms and Conditions and the bonus terms in full, opened the Payments page as a New Zealand visitor, followed the licence seal in the footer to the regulator’s validation page and took our screenshots from a New Zealand connection on 11 Oct 2026. We did not deposit, play or withdraw for real money. The short version: a wide cashier with every method marked free and a big lobby, bolted to bonus terms that are tighter than the offer cards make them look.

Who Spinjo suits, and who should keep walking

The cashier carries the review. Sixteen methods show for a New Zealand visitor, all of them free, and the licence prints as VALID on the regulator’s own page. The bonus side is where the shine comes off: 40x wagering with three days to clear left a negative number on every offer we tested, and bonus terms 1.11 hand the casino the last word in a dispute.

  • Good fit if: you want an NZD account, every payment method marked free, and e-wallets or crypto shown as instant payouts.
  • Good fit if: pokies are your main game – they count 100% toward wagering, where card games, video poker, roulette and poker count 5%.
  • Good fit if: you would rather play deposit-only, since each deposit has to be wagered three times before any withdrawal anyway.
  • Think twice if: you want a bonus worth more than it costs – our NZ$100 test leaves -NZ$60.
  • Think twice if: you deposit by crypto and want a hard ceiling, because the casino says its deposit limits cannot always be applied to crypto deposits.
  • Think twice if: you want disputes settled by anyone other than the casino – bonus terms 1.11 make its decisions final.

Seven out of twelve, and the five misses

Our check is twelve yes/no questions answered only from published documents: the terms, the bonus terms, the Payments page, the regulator’s page. Anything unclear scores nothing, which is hard on casinos that leave gaps. Spinjo scores 7/12. It met seven, including an active licence listed by the regulator, the operator’s name, company number and address printed in the terms, New Zealand absent from the restricted countries list, an NZD account, no cash-out cap on welcome bonus winnings, the first-deposit card matching the bonus terms, and deposit limits, breaks and self-exclusion explained in public. It lost five: one-sided wording that makes the casino’s decision final in a bonus dispute and its server logs final on game results; a T&C clause letting it charge a processing fee on a payout; a 72-hour processing window rather than 24; the rule that every deposit must be wagered three times before withdrawal; and the welcome bonus costing -NZ$60 on a NZ$100 deposit. More on how we score in how we review online casinos.

What the welcome bonus is worth on a $100 deposit

The first deposit offer is 100% up to $1,000 plus 100 free spins, at 40x the bonus, from a $30 deposit, with three days to clear. Put NZ$100 in and you get a NZ$100 bonus, which means NZ$4,000 of wagering. Pokies return about 96% on average, so every NZ$1 wagered costs roughly 4 cents, and NZ$4,000 costs about NZ$160 on average. That is NZ$60 more than the bonus is worth.

The clock is the other half of the problem. Three days for NZ$4,000 works out at about 1,333 spins a day at NZ$1. While a bonus is live, any bet over NZ$7.50 a spin or round voids everything won from it, and bought bonus rounds count, so a feature buy over NZ$7.50 breaks the rule. Two genuine pluses: no cap on what you can cash out, and the first deposit card matches the bonus terms exactly. For deposits two, three and four the codes disagree – the cards show SPINJO2, SPINJO3 and SPINJO4, the bonus terms give SJ125, SJ75 and SJ125D4. Ask live chat which one works and keep the answer.

How the test works: we put NZ$100 through the offer exactly as its terms read. Pokies pay back about 96 cents per dollar staked on average, so every NZ$1 of wagering costs about 4 cents. What is left of the bonus after that cost is its real value. It is an average, not a forecast: a single session can land far above or below it.

Nothing here is hidden, which is the odd part. The terms say plainly that asking for a withdrawal before wagering is complete voids the bonus and its winnings. If you will not play roughly 1,300 spins a day, skip the bonus and take the deposit-only route, remembering the three-times deposit rule still applies. Run your own figures through our wagering calculator before you claim anything.

Each offer is put through the same test: NZ$100, or the offer's minimum deposit if that is higher, and an average cost of 4 cents per NZ$1 wagered on pokies.

Tuesday Reload (code TUESDAY) gives 50% up to $750 plus 20 free spins. On the same NZ$100 test that is a NZ$50 bonus against NZ$2,000 of wagering, about NZ$80 of expected cost, so -NZ$30. Thursday Boost and Friday Fortune each hand over NZ$30 for NZ$1,200 of wagering, about NZ$48 of cost, so -NZ$18. Every one of them costs more than it gives, inside the same three days. Weekly reloads are a common shape in this market – see our reload bonus notes for how the clock usually works.

Sunday Funday free spins also carry 40x. Phantom Box prizes carry 10x wagering inside three days with a max win of 50 EUR/USD. Cashback and cash rewards count as bonuses at 10x wagering with a cash-out cap of 10x the bonus amount, and no-deposit winnings, including no-deposit free spins, are capped at NZ$75. Only one bonus can be active at a time, and a deposit bonus can be cancelled before you start wagering it – its free spins go with it.

Paying in and cashing out from New Zealand

Spinjo runs an NZD account with a NZ$30 minimum in and out, and every method on the Payments page was marked free on 10 and 11 Oct 2026. Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, MiFinity and the six crypto coins are listed as instant both ways, and the crypto minimums are 20 EUR in coin rather than NZ$30. Visa and Mastercard payouts take 1-3 banking days, bank transfer 3-5 banking days, though T&C 11.10 says bank transfers are processed within 3 business days. The page lists Apple Pay, Paysafecard and Neosurf for deposits only, and mislabels the two vouchers as a credit card and an e-wallet. Bitcoin players must pass an ID check before they can deposit or bet. If speed matters most, see our fast payout casinos.

Those payout times are the casino’s figures, not our stopwatch. T&C 11.6 says withdrawals are processed within 72 hours of approval, and the KYC policy allows up to 30 working days to review documents once they are all in. If the casino cannot reach you within two weeks of a withdrawal request, the withdrawal is cancelled and the account locked (T&C 8.4), and failing verification within two weeks of a request means account termination and confiscated funds. Card payouts return to the card only up to your net deposits, with the rest by another method. And each deposit must be wagered three times before any withdrawal, bonus or not. Have your documents ready before you deposit.

The casino's Payments page as shown to a New Zealand visitor on 10 and 11 Oct 2026 (deposit and withdrawal tables, the same on both days; the withdrawal rows for cards, bank transfer and e-wallets on screen again 11 Oct). The page lists Apple Pay, Paysafecard and Neosurf for deposits only, and calls Paysafecard a credit card and Neosurf an e-wallet; both are prepaid vouchers. Payout times are the casino's own figures; the T&C add that withdrawals are processed within 72 hours of approval (11.6) and bank transfers within 3 business days (11.10).

Caps on the way out

Withdrawals are capped at NZ$3,000 a day, NZ$7,500 a week and NZ$30,000 a month. Progressive jackpots are paid in full and sit outside those caps. The VIP page promises higher cash-out limits to invited members but prints no figures. Intermediary banks may charge up to about EUR 16 on a bank transfer, which is not the casino’s fee but lands on your end of it.

Who runs Spinjo, and who licenses it

Metlait SRL, company number 3-102-911867, at a Costa Rica address in Cartago, El Guarco. The licence is from the Tobique Gaming Commission, number 0000064, status Valid, with www.spinjo.com on the certificate. We followed the footer seal to validate.thetgc.ca on 11 Oct 2026: the page names Metlait SRL at the same address as the terms, lists www.spinjo.com and shows VALID. Our affiliate link landed on the mirror www.spinjo7.com on 10 Oct, and that seal opened the same page listing both domains, also VALID. The validation page prints no licence number and no grant date, so 0000064 is the casino’s own statement rather than the regulator’s. Disputes go to support first, then the EGIS dispute service under the Tobique Gaming Commission, with arbitration in Costa Rica, and the casino’s decision is final in bonus disputes. For a New Zealand player that adds up to an offshore licence with a regulator’s page behind it, plus no local dispute route. Our guide to gambling law spells out what that means here.

Checked 11 Oct 2026: we followed the licence seal in the casino footer to the regulator's validation page at validate.thetgc.ca. It names Metlait SRL at the same Costa Rica address as the T&C, lists www.spinjo.com as the registered website and shows operating status VALID. The seal on the mirror www.spinjo7.com (where our affiliate link landed on 10 Oct 2026) opened the same page listing www.spinjo.com and www.spinjo7.com, also VALID. The validation page prints no licence number and no grant date; the number 0000064 comes from T&C 1.1 and the site footer. The page only opens from the seal on the casino site (each link expires after about 20 minutes), so we do not link to it.

Limits and breaks you can set

The public Responsible Gaming page explains deposit limits per day, week or month, loss and wager limits on the same windows, session reminders from 6 minutes up, cooling-off breaks of 1 week, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months, and self-exclusion of 6 months, 9 months, 1 year or indefinitely. Lowering a limit is immediate; raising one needs email confirmation and waits for the old limit to expire. During a cooling-off break fiat deposits are blocked and promotions stop, but some crypto deposits may still go through, which the casino says itself. No New Zealand help service is named – the ones listed are Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare and Gambling Therapy. An account with no login or play for 12 months starts paying a monthly fee out of its balance. We did not open an account, so the settings inside the Spinjo account area were not seen.

Clauses worth reading twice

Four lines in the rulebook change a session more than any game does, and they are quoted in full below. This section stays short so you can read them yourself.

  1. Every deposit has to be played through three times before it can be withdrawn, bonus or not. Deposit NZ$100 and change your mind, and you still need NZ$300 of bets first. The casino also keeps the right to charge a fee or refuse the payout if you have not.

9.7. Any deposit must be wagered three (3) times the deposited amount before you may withdraw those funds. [...] The Casino reserves the right to charge a processing fee or refuse withdrawal if wagering requirements are unmet.

    T&C 9.7, last updated 02.04.2026, on screen 11 Oct 2026
  2. The welcome bonus and every reload expire 3 days after they are credited. At 40x, a NZ$100 bonus means NZ$4,000 of bets inside that window, about 1,333 spins a day at NZ$1. If you cannot play that much, skip the bonus.

The bonus expires in 3 days after being credited.

First deposit offer card, 11 Oct 2026 (the reload cards say the same; bonus terms 1.3 set a 3-day bonus duration)
  3. While a bonus is active, any bet above NZ$7.50 forfeits everything won from the bonus. Bought bonus rounds count, so a feature buy over NZ$7.50 breaks the rule.

2.2. The maximum bet while wagering is 5 EUR, 5 USD, 7.5 CAD, 7.5 AUD, 7.5 NZD, 50 NOK, 100 ZAR, or the equivalent in other currencies, unless otherwise specified. [...] The maximum bet limit applies to all wagers, including those placed after doubling a bet following a completed game round or during bonus rounds purchased within a game. Violating this rule will result in the forfeiture of all winnings derived from the bonus.

Bonus Policy 2.2, last updated 28.02.2024, on screen 11 Oct 2026
  4. ID checks can be slow and strict. The KYC policy allows up to 30 working days to review your documents once they are all in, and withdrawals stay pending until checks are done. If the casino cannot reach you within two weeks of a withdrawal request, the withdrawal is cancelled and the account locked (T&C 8.4). Have your documents ready before you deposit.

    5. Consideration timelines for KYC documents could be up to 30 working days from the moment when the client provided all requested documents.

    KYC AML Policy 5, read 11 Oct 2026; T&C 8.4 and 9.3
  5. In a bonus dispute the casino gives itself the last word, in a dispute about game results its own server logs are final, and it keeps sole and final authority to decide whether you broke a rule. An outside body, EGIS, is named for complaints, which helps.

1.11. In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by the casino will be final.

    Bonus Policy 1.11; T&C 7.8, 15.3 and 15.5, last updated 02.04.2026
  6. An account with no login or play for 12 months starts paying a monthly fee from its balance until it is empty.

12.1. [...] Once your Account becomes inactive, we reserve the right to charge a monthly dormancy fee of €20 (or currency equivalent), deducted from your remaining balance.

    T&C 12.1, last updated 02.04.2026
  7. Deposit limits do not reliably cover crypto, and the Responsible Gaming page adds that some crypto deposits may still go through during a cooling-off break. If you want a hard ceiling, the casino itself says to use a card or e-wallet.

10.5. Due to the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies, we cannot impose upper deposit limits on Cryptoprocessing (crypto) transactions. If you wish to enforce self-imposed limits, please choose a non-crypto payment method.

    T&C 10.5; Responsible Gaming page 2.1
  8. The bonus codes for the second, third and fourth welcome deposits are not the same in two places: the offer cards show SPINJO2, SPINJO3 and SPINJO4, the bonus terms give SJ125, SJ75 and SJ125D4. Ask live chat which code works before you deposit and keep the answer.

To receive the bonus, the player must make a deposit using bonus code SJ125.

Bonus Policy section 3 (Second Deposit Bonus); offer cards for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th deposit, 11 Oct 2026
  9. The welcome bonus and the weekday reloads carry no cap on what you can cash out. The general cap of 10x the deposit only applies to match offers of 300% or more, and none of the current offers comes close.

2.4. For deposit match bonuses with 300% offer and above, the maximum withdrawable amount from winnings generated during the bonus session is limited to ten (10) times the player’s deposit

What we could not check

We did not deposit or withdraw, and we never opened an account, so anything about the inside of the account area is second-hand. Every payout time on this page is Spinjo’s own published figure, not a stopwatch we ran. The list below sets out what stayed unverified.

  • We did not deposit or withdraw real money at Spinjo. The payout times on this page are the casino's published figures, not our own timings.
  • We did not open an account, so the limit and self-exclusion settings inside the account area were not seen.
  • Which bonus codes work for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th welcome deposits: the offer cards show SPINJO2, SPINJO3 and SPINJO4, the bonus terms SJ125, SJ75 and SJ125D4.
  • The value of each free spin in the welcome package and the Tuesday reload; neither the offer cards nor the bonus terms state it.
  • The minimum deposit: T&C 10.4 say 20 EUR or the equivalent, while the Payments page and bonus terms 1.2 say 30 NZD for cards, e-wallets and vouchers. We used NZ$30.
  • Bank transfer payout time: the Payments page says 3-5 banking days, T&C 11.10 say bank transfers are processed within 3 business days.
  • How long ID checks take in practice: the KYC policy allows up to 30 working days after all documents are in.
  • The regulator's validation page shows no licence number or grant date; the number 0000064 is the casino's own statement.
  • Whether every studio in the provider list is playable from New Zealand: T&C 3.3 restrict NetEnt games in a longer list of countries that is not printed in full.
  • The FAQ says all games hold Random Number Generation certificates; we did not see a certificate on the site.
  • Support response times.

Common questions

Is Spinjo licensed, and who runs it?

Yes. The Tobique Gaming Commission lists licence 0000064 as Valid, and the regulator’s validation page names Metlait SRL at the same Costa Rica address as the terms. That page shows www.spinjo.com and the www.spinjo7.com mirror, but no licence number or grant date, so the number itself comes from the casino’s own documents.

How long do I have to clear the Spinjo welcome bonus?

Three days from the moment it is credited, at 40x the bonus amount. A NZ$100 bonus needs NZ$4,000 of wagering inside that window, about 1,333 spins a day at NZ$1. The free spins also have to be activated within three days of being credited, and the weekday reloads use the same clock.

Do I have to wager my deposit before I can withdraw at Spinjo?

Yes. T&C 9.7 requires every deposit to be played through three times before it can be withdrawn, bonus or not – deposit NZ$100, change your mind, and you still need NZ$300 of bets first. The casino also keeps the right to charge a fee or refuse the payout if you have not.

How fast are Spinjo withdrawals?

The Payments page lists e-wallets and crypto as instant, cards as 1-3 banking days and bank transfer as 3-5 banking days, from a NZ$30 minimum. T&C 11.6 puts processing within 72 hours of approval and ID checks can take up to 30 working days, so expect the slowest of those. We could not time a payout ourselves.

I’m not your pastor, and I’m not here to save souls. But after years studying digital user behavior, working inside a gaming startup, and seeing NZ gambling law, RNG fairness, and bonus T&Cs twisted to hook players, I can’t sit quiet. I know how mobile casinos are built — I helped design some of the hooks. Now I tear them apart, call out the scams, and show players (especially the young ones) where the fun stops and the trap begins.
