Casino Payment Methods in New Zealand
This page is the map of every payment method we cover for New Zealand players. Each guide below was written against the cashiers we actually opened from a New Zealand connection between 28 Sep and 7 Oct 2026, so it tells you whether a method works at a real casino, not just whether its logo sits in a footer.
Short version: cards, Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller, vouchers and crypto all turn up in the cashiers we checked. PayPal, Afterpay, Klarna and POLi did not, and our guides to those methods explain why and what to use instead.

Cards
- Debit card casinos – the default deposit route; what pays back to a card and what does not.
- Visa casinos – the most common card in the cashiers we checked.
- Mastercard casinos – deposits and the withdrawal catch some terms put on Mastercard payouts.
- Maestro casinos – Mastercard stopped issuing new Maestro cards from 1 July 2023; what that means now.
Phone wallets
- Apple Pay casinos – in the NZ cashiers of Playmojo, Fortune Play, Spinjo, SpinsUp and LuckyVibe.
- Google Pay casinos – of the nine cashiers we scanned on 7 Oct 2026, only Slot Lounge offered it.
- Pay by phone casinos – carrier billing did not appear in any cashier we checked; what works from a phone instead.
E-wallets
- Skrill casinos – fast payouts, and the bonus exclusion some casinos attach to it.
- Neteller casinos – Skrill’s sister wallet, from NZ$30 at the casinos we checked.
- MiFinity casinos – an e-wallet that shows up in several NZ cashiers, Slot Lounge among them.
- Payz casinos – the wallet formerly called ecoPayz, renamed on 11 May 2023.
Vouchers and prepaid cards
- Paysafecard casinos – deposit-only at Playmojo, so plan a second method for withdrawals.
- Neosurf casinos – the other common voucher; same deposit-only catch.
- Flexepin casinos – accepted from $30 in the NZ cashiers of Rooster.bet and Lucky7.
- Prepaid card casinos – how prepaid cards behave in a casino cashier.
- Prezzy card casinos – the New Zealand prepaid card, deposits only.
Bank transfers and crypto
- Bank transfer casinos – slower: at Slot Lounge, bank payouts take 3-5 days and start from 100.
- POLi casinos – POLi still runs in New Zealand, but it was in none of the cashiers we checked.
- Trustly casinos – a European bank network; why NZ players rarely see it.
- Bitcoin casinos – Slot Lounge takes nine coins, Playmojo six; minimums are set in coin.
- Revolut casinos – Revolut is not a named cashier option in the casinos we checked; its Visa card works as a card.
- CashtoCode casinos – a deposit-only cash voucher; one casino lists it, unconfirmed for NZ.
- NZD casinos – which cashiers let you keep the account in New Zealand dollars.
Methods you will not find in NZ cashiers
- PayPal casinos – PayPal is not offered in the NZ cashiers we checked; the alternatives that are.
- Afterpay casinos – Afterpay’s merchant terms rule out gambling.
- Klarna casinos – Klarna’s own rules forbid gambling payments.
How to choose a payment method
Pick the withdrawal route first, then the deposit. Vouchers and some phone wallets only pay in, so you will need a card, an e-wallet, a bank transfer or crypto to cash out. Check whether the casino excludes your method from its welcome bonus – some casinos exclude Skrill and Neteller. And if speed matters most, our fast payout casinos guide compares how long each casino says withdrawals take.
