✓ on record ~ partly or unclear ✗ missing or against you ? not checked
7Bit suits players who move money by crypto or by a free e-wallet. MuchBetter, MiFinity, paysafecard, Neosurf and the crypto rows on the cashier are all listed as free, and the account runs in New Zealand dollars. The pokies lobby is huge – 118 studios listed for a visitor from here. If that is how you pay and play, there is plenty to look at.
The welcome package is the loud part: up to NZ$10,800 plus 250 spins across four deposits. The quiet part is the maths – 35x wagering on every bonus, a NZ$2 cap on each spin, 2.5% on card payments and a three-times playthrough on every deposit before you can withdraw. We read the Terms and Conditions and the bonus terms in full, opened the payments page as a New Zealand visitor, followed the licence seal to the regulator and ran our value test on paper. We did not deposit, play for real money or cash out. One-line take: a deep, well-stocked casino with a welcome offer that flatters the headline.
Where it fits, and where it does not
On paper 7Bit does the basics for a New Zealand player: a NZD account, New Zealand missing from the restricted list, a licence the regulator lists as valid, and crypto and e-wallet payouts the payments page calls instant. What pulls it back is cost and clearing time – 2.5% on the common cards, three-times play on every deposit, and a first deposit bonus that leaves you about NZ$40 down on a NZ$100 test.
- Good fit if: you fund with crypto or a free e-wallet such as MuchBetter or MiFinity
- Good fit if: you want a NZD balance and a lobby of 118 studios
- Good fit if: you are happy to clear 35x at a NZ$2 maximum spin
- Think twice if: Visa or Mastercard is your main method, at 2.5% in and 2.5% out on Mastercard
- Think twice if: you want a bonus that returns more than it costs
- Think twice if: you would rather not wait up to 30 working days for ID checks

The twelve questions, and the six it passed
The check is twelve yes/no questions answered only from published documents – the terms, the bonus rules, the payments page, the regulator’s own record. Anything the paperwork cannot answer cleanly scores nothing. 7Bit scored 6/12. Points came from a licence the regulator shows as active, an operator named with company number and address, New Zealand staying off the restricted list, a NZD account, offer cards that match the bonus terms, and public explanations of deposit limits, breaks and self-exclusion. Points went missing on the dispute rules in T&C 7.8 and 15.3, on withdrawal fees, on a 72-hour processing window rather than 24, on the three-times playthrough on deposits, on the negative value of the welcome bonus and on the NZ$200 cap on free spin winnings. Our method for scoring across operators is set out in how we review online casinos.

One point for each question the published documents answer in the player's favour. Unclear answers score nothing until the casino clarifies them in writing.
What the first deposit bonus really costs
Take the first deposit offer: 100% up to NZ$800 plus 100 spins on Elvis Frog in Vegas, at 35x the bonus. A NZ$100 deposit brings a NZ$100 bonus, which means NZ$3,500 of bets. Pokies return about 96%, so each NZ$1 staked costs roughly 4 cents – around NZ$140 over the run, more than the bonus is worth. Fourteen days to clear that is about 250 spins a day at NZ$1 a spin, with a NZ$2 cap while any of it is active.
7Bit adds the bonus automatically with that first deposit, and once it is active your deposit is locked alongside it. Spin winnings are capped at NZ$200. No cash-out cap is written down for the match bonus, and no rule says it is unlimited either, so treat that as open.
| You deposit | NZ$100 |
|---|---|
| Bonus at 100% | + NZ$100 |
| Wagering: 35x on bonus only | NZ$3,500 to turn over |
| Average cost of that play (96% RTP pokies) | - NZ$140 |
| Bonus value left | -NZ$40 |
Costs a little more than it gives (-40% of the bonus survives its own wagering)
- Time on the clock
- 14 days = about 250 spins a day at NZ$1
- Biggest bet while wagering
- NZ$2 a spin (bonus terms, Welcome Package; offer card)
- Most you can cash out
- Neither the offer card nor the bonus terms state a cap on the match bonus, and no general rule caps deposit match bonuses. Winnings from the welcome free spins are capped at 200 NZD (offer cards; bonus terms, general rules)
- Free spins (not counted above)
- 100 on Elvis Frog in Vegas (BGaming); activate each set within 24 hours and play it within 1 day; winnings wagered 35x and capped at 200 NZD; the spin value is not stated
How the test works: we put NZ$100 through the offer exactly as its terms read. Pokies pay back about 96 cents per dollar staked on average, so every NZ$1 of wagering costs about 4 cents. What is left of the bonus after that cost is its real value. It is an average, not a forecast: a single session can land far above or below it.
The catch is the pairing: an automatic bonus and a locked deposit. If you would rather keep your deposit free of it, ask live chat whether you can decline the automatic bonus before you pay. Our wagering calculator runs the same arithmetic, and we kept the offer card and the bonus terms side by side while we worked.

The rest of the offers go through the same mill
The promotions page carries sixteen offer cards. We ran the same NZ$100 test over all of them, adjusting for each offer’s own minimum.

Each offer is put through the same test: NZ$100, or the offer's minimum deposit if that is higher, and an average cost of 4 cents per NZ$1 wagered on pokies.
The second, third and fourth deposit bonuses – codes 2DEP, 3DEP and 4DEP – repeat the pattern at 35x, and 7Bit loses value the same way each time: NZ$75, NZ$50 and NZ$100 bonuses cost about NZ$105, NZ$70 and NZ$140 to clear. The Monday reload is 25% at 35x with a single day to finish, which is NZ$875 of bets in 24 hours for a NZ$25 bonus. Free spin offers sit between 30x and 45x, with spin winnings capped from NZ$200 up to NZ$1,000. Weekly cashback starts at VIP level 1 and needs NZ$500 of deposits and losses in a week.
Paying in and cashing out from New Zealand
The 7Bit cashier is an NZD one with a long list of methods. Visa and Mastercard deposits cost 2.5%, and so do Skrill, Neteller and Rapid Transfer deposits. On the way out, Mastercard and bank transfer payouts cost 2.5% and Maestro payouts cost 5%. MuchBetter, MiFinity, paysafecard, Neosurf and the coins are listed as free. E-wallet and crypto withdrawals are described as instant, cards take 1-3 banking days, and bank transfers 1-5 days from NZ$400. The terms themselves promise only processing within 72 hours of approval.
Remember the deposit rule before you pick a method: every deposit has to be played through three times before it can be withdrawn, or the casino may charge a processing fee or refuse the payout. The minimum deposit is stated three different ways – the terms say 20 NZD, the payments page runs from NZ$1.20 in crypto to NZ$30 by card, and the welcome package wants NZ$40. Check the cashier page before you send anything.

The casino's Payments page as shown to a New Zealand visitor on 10 Oct 2026 (deposit and withdrawal lists; the card and bank rows were on screen again on 11 Oct). The list looks global rather than made for New Zealand: it also shows Interac, which is left out here, and AstroPay Direct (deposits only, NZ$40 to NZ$1,000, free). Payout times and fees are the casino's own figures; the T&C add that withdrawals are processed within 72 hours of approval (11.6).

The ceiling on the way out
7Bit caps withdrawals at NZ$20,000 in any rolling seven days, counted from your first cashout of the month and reset on the 1st, and NZ$80,000 a month. Most methods also take a maximum of NZ$8,000 per transaction, and larger sums can be split into instalments. Progressive jackpots are paid in full and sit outside both caps. VIP players at levels 2 to 12 can ask a manager to review the limits, with no figures promised.

Who runs it, and who licenses it
The terms name Saphirix Solutions SRL, company number 3-102-933997, at an address in San Pedro, Costa Rica, under a Tobique Gaming Commission licence, 0000091. We followed the licence seal in the footer from a New Zealand connection to the regulator’s validation page. It lists the same company at the same address, lists www.7bitcasino.com and 7bitcasino.com, and shows the status as VALID under the Tobique Gaming Act 2023. It prints no licence number and no grant date, so 0000091 is 7Bit’s own statement. The About Us page still names a Curacao company and a Curacao licence, so the paperwork contradicts itself; go by the terms, which are the contract. Disputes start with support, then the EGIS dispute service, then arbitration in Costa Rica, and the casino’s server logs decide arguments about game results. ID checks can take up to 30 working days. An offshore licence like this means no New Zealand regulator stands behind your balance – our gambling law page sets out what that does and does not cover.

Checked 11 Oct 2026: we followed the licence seal in the footer of the casino's site, as shown to a New Zealand visitor, to the regulator's validation page at validate.thetgc.ca. It names SAPHIRIX SOLUTIONS SRL at the same San Jose, Costa Rica address as the T&C, lists www.7bitcasino.com and 7bitcasino.com as the registered websites and shows operating status VALID under the Tobique Gaming Act 2023. The validation page prints no licence number and no grant date; the number 0000091 comes from T&C 1.1 and the site footer. The page only opens from the seal on the casino site (each link carries a stamp that expires after about 20 minutes), so we do not link to it.

Limits and breaks you can set
The public Play Safe page spells out the tools: deposit limits by day, week or month with a 24-hour wait before a rise; loss limits and bet limits on the same cycles; cooling-off breaks of one day, one week, one month, three months or six months, where the account reopens on its own; and self-exclusion for 6, 9 or 12 months, or permanent closure through support. Crypto deposits cannot be capped, per T&C 10.5. The help services listed are GamCare, Gordon House and Gam-Anon, and none of them is a New Zealand service. More in our safe online casinos guide.

Pokies and studios in the lobby
The lobby is very large: 118 studios listed for a New Zealand visitor, with 15 more marked unavailable. The names include Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Hacksaw, Nolimit City, Push Gaming, Relax Gaming and BGaming, with Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and Ezugi covering live tables. Tabs run Lobby, Live, New and Hot, and games can be tried in demo mode. The casino says some titles are provably fair. No RTP figures are published anywhere we looked, which makes the pokies list a starting point rather than a ranking.

Clauses worth reading twice
Four clauses deserve a second pass before you deposit. Leave money in an account you stop using and after 12 months 7Bit can take NZ$40 a month from it. A withdrawal is cancelled and the account locked if the casino cannot reach you within two weeks. ID checks can run to 30 working days once everything is in. And once your deposits-to-bonuses ratio passes 50%, the casino can stop giving you bonuses altogether.
Every deposit has to be played through three times before it can be withdrawn, and ten times on table and live games, bonus or not. If you ask for a payout before that, the casino may charge a processing fee or refuse it.
9.6. Any deposits need to be wagered at least 3 times, table/live games at least 10 times playing real money. [...] The Casino reserves the right to charge a processing fee or refuse withdrawal if wagering requirements are unmet.
T&C 9.6, version 1.0 of 11.05.2026 (read 10 and 11 Oct 2026)Fees on common methods: Visa and Mastercard deposits cost 2.5%, so do Skrill, Neteller and Rapid Transfer deposits. On the way out Mastercard and bank transfer payouts cost 2.5% and Maestro payouts 5%. MuchBetter, MiFinity, paysafecard, Neosurf and crypto are listed as free.
There are minor charges for withdrawals from our side, please refer to the Payments page for the details.

The T&C, the footer and the regulator's page name Saphirix Solutions SRL of Costa Rica with a Tobique licence, but the About Us page still names a Curacao company and a Curacao Gaming Authority licence, and the FAQ says the casino operates under the laws of Curacao. Go by the T&C, which are the contract.

When accepting a deposit bonus, please note that your deposit is locked together with it. You then have two options: complete the wagering requirement or cancel the bonus. If you cancel it, the bonus amount and all winnings linked to it will be lost.

What we could not check
Some things needed a funded account inside 7Bit, and we did not open one. The notes below set out what stayed unconfirmed on this pass.
- We did not deposit or withdraw real money at 7Bit. The payout times on this page are the casino's published figures, not our own timings.
- We did not open an account, so the limit and self-exclusion settings inside the account area were not seen.
- Which company you deal with. The T&C (version 1.0, effective 11.05.2026), the site footer and the regulator's page shown to a New Zealand visitor name Saphirix Solutions SRL of Costa Rica with a Tobique licence. The About Us page names Scores55 Tech B.V. of Curacao with Curacao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1307/0748, the home page text speaks of a Curacao Gaming Authority licence, and the page code holds a footer naming Kika Technology B.V. of Curacao for visitors from at least one other country. We did not check the Curacao licence named on the About Us page at the regulator. This page describes the New Zealand T&C.
- The regulator's validation page shows no licence number or grant date; the number 0000091 is the casino's own statement in T&C 1.1 and the footer.
- Whether the welcome match bonuses carry a cash-out cap. No cap is written on the offer cards or in the bonus terms, and no general rule caps deposit match bonuses, but the terms do not say the cash-out is unlimited either. Ask live chat before a large deposit and keep the answer.
- The value of each welcome free spin is not stated anywhere.
- The affiliate link opens a landing page on 7bitcasino.com offering a $5 free chip after registration and 100 free spins for a $20 deposit. The page shows no wagering, cap or expiry, and neither offer is on the promotions page; the bonus terms set 40x on free chips and T&C 11.7 cap no-deposit winnings at 40 NZD.
- The promotions page text says most bonuses are wagered 40-45 times and that wagering can reach 45x, while the offer cards and the bonus terms give 35x for the welcome package. We used the offer cards and the bonus terms.
- Payout speed in practice: the Payments page lists e-wallets and crypto as instant, the About Us page says bitcoin payouts take less than ten minutes, while T&C 11.6 says within 72 hours of approval. For bank transfers the Payments page says 1-5 banking days and T&C 11.10 says 3 business days.
- The payment list shown to a New Zealand visitor looks global rather than made for New Zealand (it also lists Interac), and some entries look like data errors: a Dogecoin payout minimum of 2,000 NZD and a Binance payout maximum shown as "36.0". Several payout minimums (NZ$20) are lower than the NZ$40 in T&C 11.1. We could not tell which methods actually work from New Zealand.
- Support response times and how long ID checks take in practice.
Reader questions
Is 7Bit licensed and who runs it?
The terms name Saphirix Solutions SRL of Costa Rica under Tobique Gaming Commission licence 0000091, and the regulator’s validation page shows the domain with a VALID status. The About Us page still names a Curacao company and a Curacao licence, so the documents disagree with each other. Treat the terms as the contract.
Does 7Bit charge fees on deposits and withdrawals?
Yes, on some routes. Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller and Rapid Transfer deposits cost 2.5%, Mastercard and bank transfer payouts cost 2.5%, and Maestro payouts cost 5%. MuchBetter, MiFinity, paysafecard, Neosurf and crypto are listed as free. There is also a processing fee if you withdraw before clearing a deposit three times.
Do I have to wager my deposit before withdrawing at 7Bit?
Yes. Every deposit has to be played through three times, and ten times on table and live games, bonus or not. Ask for a payout before that and the casino may charge a fee or refuse it. Take a bonus and its own wagering sits on top.
Is the 7Bit welcome bonus worth taking?
On our NZ$100 test the first deposit bonus left about NZ$40 short after wagering, with 14 days to clear NZ$3,500 of bets at a NZ$2 maximum spin. It arrives automatically and locks your deposit with it. Deposit more than NZ$100 and the numbers shift, but the 35x and the cap stay.
