XON is a casino and a sportsbook under one login, and the lobby is big: 17,069 games counted on 11 October 2026, 14,599 of them slots and 1,169 live. Promotions and FAQ examples are priced in NZ$, and New Zealand sign-ups are assigned a NZD account.

Through our link the XON welcome pack is advertised as 550% up to 5,500 NZ$ plus free spins across four deposits. The catches are not on the offer cards. They sit in the general bonus rules and in the paper trail behind the brand. We read the terms and the bonus terms in full, checked the licence with the regulator and took screenshots from a New Zealand connection on 11 October 2026. We did not deposit and we did not play for real money. Short version: a large, well-stocked site where the offer is worth less than the headline and the licence status is not active.

The honest read for a casual player

Plenty works. The game count is real, NZD accounts exist, and withdrawals are published as pending 0 to 24 hours before processing. Against that: our twelve-question check scored XON five out of twelve, the first-deposit bonus costs more than it gives on a NZ$100 test, and the licence behind the brand sits at “Assessment in progress” on the regulator’s own register rather than active. So the fine print deserves an evening of your time.

  • Good fit if you want pokies, live tables and sports in one account, with 17,069 games to scroll through.
  • Good fit if you would rather hold a NZD balance than convert from EUR on every deposit.
  • Good fit if you are comfortable with an offshore Curaçao operator and read terms before signing up.
  • Think twice if you want a welcome bonus that survives a paper test. Ours came out at -NZ$100 on a NZ$100 deposit.
  • Think twice if you want to cash out a deposit without playing it. Each deposit must be wagered twice first, or 10% goes as a fee.
  • Think twice if a licence seal matters. XON shows none on its own site.

Scoring five out of twelve

The check is twelve yes or no questions, answered only from documents the operator publishes – the terms, bonus rules, complaints policy and the regulator’s register. Anything unclear scores nothing. XON met five: New Zealand is not on the restricted countries list, the wording does not give the casino the final say in disputes, a NZD account is available, withdrawals are published as processed within 24 hours, and limits, breaks and self-exclusion are explained in public. Seven went the other way: no licence shown as active on the regulator’s site, no company details in the terms, fees the casino may charge on deposits and withdrawals, a rule that wagers your own deposit twice, a welcome bonus that costs more than it gives, a cap on withdrawals from bonus funds, and offer cards that do not match the landing page. Our review method sets out how the scoring works.

5/12XON meets 5 of our 12 points

Paper

  • ✗Licence shown as active on the regulator's own siteNo licence seal on the site and no licence in the T&C. The CGA registry (updated 9 Oct 2026, entry 206) lists OGL/2024/1056/0702 for Inextro B.V. as expiring 4-Jun-26 with status Assessment in progress, not Active, and names no website.
  • ✗Operator, company number and address published in the termsThe T&C name no company, number or address. Beriston Limited (HE 385830, Nicosia) appears only in the landing page footer; the Privacy Notice mentions Beriston Ltd once without details.
  • ✓New Zealand is not on the restricted countries listNew Zealand is not on the T&C 2.1.4 list (it does name the Cook Islands, Niue and Tokelau) or in 17.5; the landing page's region-block message stayed hidden for a New Zealand visitor (11 Oct 2026).
  • ✓No one-sided rules on wording or the final say in disputesNo clause reads translation errors in the casino's favour (T&C 1.6 only says the English text prevails) and none makes its decision final in a dispute; the Complaints Policy points to ABC ADR. Other terms are one-sided, such as the 100 EUR liability cap (10.5).

Money

  • ✓NZD account availableOffers, tournaments and FAQ examples are in NZ$ and the sign-up data assigns NZD to New Zealand; the T&C list no currencies and set limits in EUR.
  • ✗No casino fees on deposits or withdrawalsT&C 3.2.2 and 3.3.1: the casino may charge fees on deposits and withdrawals; 3.3.5: a 10% fee if a deposit was not wagered twice.
  • ✓Withdrawals processed within 24 hours (published figure)T&C 3.3.6: withdrawals stay pending 0-24 hours and are processed daily, weekends included; arrival can take a few days by method.
  • ✗No rule to wager your own deposit before cashing outT&C 3.3.5 and 7.7.1: each deposit must be wagered twice before a fee-free withdrawal; the FAQ repeats it.

Bonus

  • ✗Welcome bonus does not cost more than it gives (NZ$100 test)-NZ$100 left of a NZ$200 bonus after wagering.
  • ✗No cash-out cap on winnings from the welcome bonusT&C 3.6.3 and 7.5.1 cap withdrawals from bonus funds at 200% of the bonus; the welcome cards say nothing either way.
  • ✗Offer card and bonus terms describe the same offerThe landing page promises 5,500 NZ$ + 550 free spins on the first 4 deposits; the cards give 100 spins with the first deposit and up to 450 more only for four deposits within 48 hours, scaled to the amount. Without our link the site shows 500% up to 4,000 NZ$.

Protection

  • ✓Deposit limits, breaks and self-exclusion explained publiclyThe Responsible Gambling page explains deposit, loss, wager and session limits, a cool-off period and self-exclusion from 24 hours to 2 months.

One point for each question the published documents answer in the player's favour. Unclear answers score nothing until the casino clarifies them in writing.

What the welcome offer is really worth on a 100 dollar deposit

On a NZ$100 first deposit the card offers a 200% match up to NZ$1,200 plus 100 free spins. Read the card alone and it looks clean: no wagering, no minimum deposit, no time limit stated. That is not how it works out. Section 7 of the T&C applies a default of 40x the bonus unless the offer says otherwise, and the FAQ says bonuses usually carry x40 or x45. The real figure appears only when the bonus is credited, so we ran the test on 40x.

The arithmetic: a NZ$200 bonus, NZ$8,000 of turnover, and slots returning about 96% on average, so each NZ$1 wagered costs about 4 cents. Expected cost NZ$300 against a NZ$200 bonus. Value left: -NZ$100. The other rules tighten it further. Your deposit must be wagered twice before you can withdraw without a fee, otherwise 10% of the withdrawable money goes as a fee. Cash-outs from bonus funds are capped at 200% of the bonus, NZ$400 here, and anything above that is voided. While a bonus is active, anything you win from your own money moves to the bonus balance, where the wagering and the cap apply. No time limit is published.

Bonus value testWelcome pack, 1st deposit (as shown through our link)200% up to NZ$1,200 + 100 free spins; no wagering on the card, so the T&C default of 40x the bonus applies
You depositNZ$100

Wagering: 40x on bonus onlyNZ$8,000 to turn over
Average cost of that play (96% RTP pokies)- NZ$300

Costs a little more than it gives (-50% of the bonus survives its own wagering)

Biggest bet while wagering
5 EUR per spin or 0.50 EUR per bet line, or the equivalent in your currency (T&C 7.12)
Most you can cash out
NZ$400 - T&C 3.6.3 and 7.5.1: withdrawals from bonus funds are capped at 200% of the bonus; winnings above that are voided
Free spins (not counted above)
100 free spins with the first deposit; game and spin value not stated; unused spins expire after 10 days unless stated otherwise (T&C 7.8)

How the test works: we put NZ$100 through the offer exactly as its terms read. Pokies pay back about 96 cents per dollar staked on average, so every NZ$1 of wagering costs about 4 cents. What is left of the bonus after that cost is its real value. It is an average, not a forecast: a single session can land far above or below it.

The catch is the combination, not one clause on its own: a card that says “no wagering” sitting next to a 40x default, and a cap on what you can take out even after clearing it. If that maths does not suit you, play from your own balance instead. To run the sums on your own deposit, use our wagering calculator.

Each offer is put through the same test: NZ$100, or the offer's minimum deposit if that is higher, and an average cost of 4 cents per NZ$1 wagered on pokies.

On a NZ$100 stake the second card earns a NZ$150 bonus against NZ$240 of expected cost, so -NZ$90. The third and fourth both earn NZ$100 against NZ$160, so -NZ$60. Our line on all three: costs much more than it gives.

The spins are the other moving part. The cards give 100 free spins with the first deposit and up to 450 more only if you make four deposits within 48 hours of signing up, scaled to what you put in. No-deposit spin winnings are capped at 50 EUR or the equivalent, and one successful deposit is needed before you can withdraw them. Separately, weekly cashback pays 5% of the week’s spend once it tops 1,000 NZ$, credited on Fridays with no wagering, but only for players whose withdrawals do not exceed their deposits.

Paying in and cashing out from New Zealand

XON publishes no payments page. /en-nz/payments returned Page Not Found on 11 October 2026, and About us tells you to log in and check the Cashier for the methods available to you. The only sign of what works from here is the footer logo row a New Zealand visitor sees: Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Paysafecard and MiFinity, plus an Interac badge that belongs to a Canadian method. Minimums, payout times and fees per method are not published, so what a Visa deposit or withdrawal costs you is a question for support.

The shape of it is published, though. Withdrawals sit pending for 0 to 24 hours, then process daily including weekends and bank holidays, with arrival taking a few days depending on the method. Money goes back to the deposit method where possible. Clauses 3.2.2 and 3.3.1 let the casino charge fees on deposits and on withdrawals, and no fee list exists. Each deposit must be wagered twice before you can withdraw without a fee, or 10% of the withdrawable money goes as a fee. Every limit and fee in the terms is set in EUR “or the currency equivalent”, with no exchange rate given.

The limits on the way out

The ceilings are weekly and monthly: 5,000 EUR a week and 15,000 EUR a month. Once winnings pass five times your total deposits, only 5,000 EUR can leave in 30 days. Wins of 50,000 EUR or more may be paid in ten monthly instalments of 10%, with no exception stated for progressive jackpots. Minimum withdrawal is not published, the FAQ says it depends on the method, and the VIP Club lists VIP support and quicker KYC, not higher limits. Cumulative withdrawals over 2,000 EUR bring extra ID checks, with documents due within 14 days. If speed matters, compare our fast payout casinos.

Who runs it and who licenses it

The terms name no company and no licence, and the site carries no seal. The footer of the landing page our link opens names Beriston Limited in Cyprus, company number HE 385830, as operator, and Inextro B.V. in Curaçao, registration number 146616, as the parent holding the licence, described there as an application in progress. We opened the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s own register. Entry 206 lists licence OGL/2024/1056/0702 for Inextro B.V., type B2C, issued “4-Dec-25”, expiring “4-Jun-26”, status Assessment in progress rather than Active. It names no website, so it does not tie the licence to an XON domain, and the regulator says its overviews do not guarantee a licence is currently valid. Inextro B.V. is not on the enforcement register. A CGA certificate for the same number exists, but it covers another casino’s domain. For a New Zealand player that is an offshore Curaçao arrangement with no local regulator standing behind it. Our guide to gambling law covers what that does and does not protect.

Checked 11 Oct 2026: the casino site shows no licence seal or validator link, and its T&C name no licence and no company. The licence number comes only from the footer of the landing page our link opens, which says all gambling services are licensed by Inextro B.V. (Korporaalweg 10, Willemstad, Curaçao, registration number 146616, parent company of the operator) and that Inextro "has an application (OGL/2024/1056/0702) for a gaming license in progress". We opened the License register page on the Curaçao Gaming Authority's own website (cga.cw) and its Online Gaming License Registry (PDF, last updated 9 Oct 2026). Entry 206 lists licence OGL/2024/1056/0702 for Inextro B.V., company type B2C, registration number 146616, issued 4-Dec-25, expires 4-Jun-26, status Assessment in progress. The registry names no website, so it does not tie the licence to XON, and the regulator says these overviews do not guarantee that a licence is currently valid. Inextro B.V. is not on the regulator's enforcement register (updated 14 Sep 2026). A CGA certificate for the same licence number, which we found through a web search and not through XON, covers another casino's domain only; we found none for an XON domain. Open the certificate

Limits and breaks you can set

The Responsible Gambling page explains the available tools. Deposit limits come daily, weekly or monthly, set in the Settings page of your profile and effective at once, with at least a 24-hour wait before you can loosen one. There is a loss limit and a separate wager limit, plus a session time limit that sends a reminder when it runs out. A cool-off blocks deposits and real-money play straight away, and self-exclusion runs from 24 hours to 2 months, or longer and permanent through support. Cash out before you self-exclude, because you cannot request a withdrawal while it is active. One more thing: the limits cover casino play only, since T&C 4.1 leaves sports betting outside them. We did not open an account, so this is the published description rather than the screens themselves.

  • ✓Deposit limitsDaily, weekly or monthly, set on the Settings page of the profile and effective at once; removing or loosening a restriction waits at least 24 hours (Responsible Gambling page). T&C 4.1: limits apply to casino play only, not sports betting.
  • ✓Loss or wager limitsA daily, weekly or monthly loss limit and a wager limit, both in the profile (Responsible Gambling page).
  • ✓Session remindersA session time limit; when it runs out you get a reminder with the option to log out or keep playing (Responsible Gambling page).
  • ✓Cooling-off breakA cool-off period blocks deposits and real-money play and applies at once; the page gives no lengths, and the account does not reopen by itself afterwards.
  • ✓Self-exclusionFrom 24 hours to 2 months in the profile, longer or permanent through support (also by email, T&C 4.1). Cash out first: during self-exclusion you cannot request a withdrawal.
  • ~Help services listedGamCare, Gambling Therapy and Gamblers Anonymous, plus a self-assessment test. No New Zealand service is named.

The lobby is a large part of XON. Our count on 11 October 2026 came to 17,069 games (14,599 slots, 1,169 live) from 166 studios. Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, NetEnt, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City and Evolution live tables are all there, alongside Relax Gaming, Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger, Yggdrasil, Playson, BGaming, Endorphina, Novomatic, Spinomenal, Playtech, Evoplay, 3 Oaks, Quickspin, Thunderkick and Spribe. Live shows, instant games, bingo and scratch cards sit next to the sports and esports book. Browse our pokies section if you are still choosing a game. No per-title return figures appear in the documents we read, so the 96% average in our value test is an assumption, not a number from XON.

Clauses worth reading twice

Four stand out. Every deposit must be wagered twice before you can withdraw without a fee, bonus or not. Withdrawals from bonus funds are capped at twice the bonus, and the welcome cards do not lift that. While a bonus is active, winnings from your own money land in the bonus balance. And if something goes wrong on the casino’s side, the terms cap what it owes you at 100 EUR, whatever your balance. Note the 14-day window for withdrawal complaints too, next to the six months the Complaints Policy allows for everything else.

  1. The T&C never say who runs XON or which licence it holds. Only the footer of the landing page our link opens names Beriston Limited in Cyprus as operator and Inextro B.V. in Curaçao as licence holder, and it calls the licence an application in progress. The regulator's registry lists that licence as Assessment in progress, expiring 4-Jun-26, and names no website.

Inextro B.V. has an application (OGL/2024/1056/0702) for a gaming license in progress with Curacao Gaming Control Board and while the application is in progress, Inextro B.V. is permitted to continue its operations.

Footer of the landing page our link opens, 10 and 11 Oct 2026; CGA Online Gaming License Registry, updated 9 Oct 2026
  2. Every deposit has to be played through twice before you can cash out free of charge, bonus or not. Withdraw earlier and 10% of the withdrawable money goes as a fee.

3.3.5. Each player's deposit must be wagered twice before account money could be withdrawn without fees. It means that player must make bets for amount of not less than deposit amount multiplied by two. If a player requests a withdrawal before deposit wagering requirements have been met, withdrawable money will suffer 10% fee.

    T&C 3.3.5, same text on 10 and 11 Oct 2026
  3. Whatever you win from bonus money, at most twice the bonus can be cashed out. On the NZ$200 bonus a NZ$100 first deposit earns, that is NZ$400; anything above is voided. The welcome cards do not lift this rule.

7.5.1. The maximum amount that can be withdrawn from bonus funds is capped at 200% of the bonus amount. Any winnings beyond this limit will not be eligible for withdrawal and will be voided.

T&C 7.5.1 (the same rule is in 3.6.3)
  4. While a bonus is active your own money is bet first, but anything those bets win is moved to the bonus balance, where the wagering and the 2x cap apply.

When a player has both active balances, bets are deducted first from the real balance, and any winnings from such bets are credited to the bonus balance (without increasing the wagering amount).

    T&C 7.7.1
  5. The T&C let the casino charge fees on deposits (depending on the method) and on withdrawals, and no fee list is published. Payment providers may also charge for each part of a split payout (3.3.8).

3.3.1. Withdrawals will be made to your bank account or other withdrawal methods available from ‘the Website’. We may charge assigned fees for processing such withdrawals.

    T&C 3.3.1, 3.2.2 and 3.3.8
  6. Win big compared with what you put in and cash-outs slow down: once winnings pass five times your total deposits, only 5,000 EUR can leave in 30 days. Wins of 50,000 EUR or more can be paid in ten monthly parts.

3.6.2. In cases where a Player's total winnings exceed five (5) times the total sum of their deposits, maximum withdrawal limit of 5,000 EUR (or equivalent in another currency) within a 30-day period.

    T&C 3.6 and 3.6.2
  7. Problems with a withdrawal must be raised within 14 calendar days, far less than the six months the Complaints Policy allows for other complaints.

3.3.7. For every your request and/or complaint respecting to any withdrawals and/or compensations, there is a limited period, within which such request and/or complaint should be sent to us. The limitation period is 14 calendar days.

    T&C 3.3.7; Complaints Policy section 3
  8. If something goes wrong on the casino's side, the T&C cap what it owes you at 100 EUR, whatever your balance.

10.5. To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Websites, regardless of the cause of actions (whether in contract, tort, breach of warranty or otherwise), will not exceed 100 EUR (or your currency equivalent)

    T&C 10.5
  9. A full set of limits sits in the profile, and loosening one has a 24-hour delay while tightening works at once.

For your benefit you will not be allowed to remove any restrictions placed on your account or bets until a minimum period of twenty four hours from the moment you request to decrease the limitation. Increase in restrictions will be affected immediately.

  10. An unresolved complaint can go to an outside dispute service rather than ending with the casino's own answer.

If you remain dissatisfied with our Final Response, or if we have not provided a Final Response within the complaint-handling timeframe set out in this Policy, you may refer your complaint to ABC ADR, our appointed independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider

XON T&C clause 7.7.1 on winnings from real money going to the bonus balance

What we could not check

We tested the paperwork, not the casino. No deposit, no account, no payout, and no sight of the settings inside the account area.

  • We did not deposit or withdraw real money at XON. The payout times on this page are the casino's published figures, not our own timings.
  • We did not open an account, so the limit and self-exclusion settings inside the account area were not seen.
  • Who runs XON and under which licence. The T&C name no company, number, address or licence; the Privacy Notice mentions Beriston Ltd once without details. The operator and the licence holder come only from the landing page footer, which itself calls the licence an application in progress. The regulator's registry shows that licence as Assessment in progress and names no website, so we could not confirm that any licence covers the XON domains.
  • The welcome cards state no wagering, no minimum deposit and no time limit. We used the T&C 7.5 default of 40x the bonus; the FAQ says bonuses usually carry x40 or x45, and T&C 7.4 say the actual figure is shown only when the bonus is credited. With no time limit published, the daily pace of the wagering is not calculated.
  • Which welcome pack you get. Through our link the site showed 550% up to 5,500 NZ$ plus spins on 11 Oct 2026; the same promotions page opened without the link showed 500% up to 4,000 NZ$ (150%, 120%, 110% and 120%, each up to 1,000 NZ$, no spins). Check the offer in your account before depositing.
  • There is no public payments page. Minimum deposits and withdrawals, payout times and fees per method are not published, and the footer logos are the only sign of which methods work from New Zealand.
  • The exchange rate used to apply the EUR limits and fees in the T&C to an NZD account.
  • Which slot the 100 first-deposit free spins are on and what each spin is worth, and how many of the up to 450 no-deposit spins a given deposit total unlocks.
  • Support response times and how long ID checks take in practice.

Common questions

Who runs XON and is it licensed?

The terms name no company and no licence. The landing page footer names Beriston Limited in Cyprus as operator and Inextro B.V. in Curaçao as licence holder, and calls the licence an application in progress. The regulator’s registry lists OGL/2024/1056/0702 for Inextro B.V. as Assessment in progress, expiring “4-Jun-26”, and names no website. We could not tie that licence to an XON domain.

Is the welcome pack worth taking on NZ$100?

On our numbers, no. A NZ$100 deposit earns a NZ$200 bonus with NZ$8,000 of turnover at the 40x default, costing about NZ$300 in expected play. That leaves -NZ$100, and cash-outs from bonus funds are capped at twice the bonus, so NZ$400 here. The cards say nothing about any of it.

Can I play at XON in New Zealand dollars?

Mostly. Promotions, tournaments and FAQ examples are priced in NZ$, and New Zealand sign-ups are assigned a NZD account. The terms are the catch: every limit and fee is set in EUR “or the currency equivalent” with no rate published, so NZ$ amounts and EUR amounts do not always line up. Our NZD casinos page covers the practical side.

How fast does XON pay out, and are there fees?

The published figure is a pending window of 0 to 24 hours, then daily processing including weekends and bank holidays, with arrival taking a few days depending on the method. That is the casino’s own number and we could not test it. Fees are possible on deposits and withdrawals under clauses 3.2.2 and 3.3.1, and no fee list is published.

I’m not your pastor, and I’m not here to save souls. But after years studying digital user behavior, working inside a gaming startup, and seeing NZ gambling law, RNG fairness, and bonus T&Cs twisted to hook players, I can’t sit quiet. I know how mobile casinos are built — I helped design some of the hooks. Now I tear them apart, call out the scams, and show players (especially the young ones) where the fun stops and the trap begins.
