Spin Samba is a RealTime Gaming casino built around match codes, a big progressive lobby and terms that ask a lot of you. It suits players who like a classic pokies set-up and are willing to read the small print before they spend.

One thing to sort out first. Our link opens an instant-play lobby labelled for New Zealand, while the T&C and the payments page sit on a site version marked Australian and print bare $ amounts. We did not deposit or play for real money at Spin Samba. What we did was read the T&C and bonus terms in full, open the payments page as a New Zealand visitor, check the licence with the regulator and take screenshots from a New Zealand connection. In one line: a bonus that costs more than it gives, behind a licence the regulator describes two different ways.

Where it fits and where it does not

The arithmetic is the problem. On our NZ$100 value test the first welcome code leaves you about NZ$200 down on average, and Spin Samba scores one point out of twelve on the check below.

Good fit if:

  • You like RTG pokies, progressives and a small live dealer section in one lobby.
  • You plan to use a match code and will read its terms first.
  • You want comp points and a VIP ladder alongside the games.

Think twice if:

  • You want a bonus that does not cost more than it gives. All three welcome codes fail the value test.
  • You want payouts that arrive in full and fast. Bank transfers cost 40($) and the usual time is 96 hours.
  • You want to know which currency your account is held in. No page says.

The twelve questions, and the one point scored

Our review method asks twelve yes/no questions of the published documents. A point is only awarded when those documents answer in your favour; anything unclear, or any disagreement between pages, scores nothing. Spin Samba scores 1/12. The single point comes from the restricted countries list, which does not include New Zealand. It lost the other eleven: a licence the regulator describes two ways, an operator address that stops at “Gebouw”, final-say wording on disputes and refunds, no named account currency, payout fees, a usual 96-hour processing time, the rule that every deposit is turned over in full, a welcome bonus that costs more than it gives, the 20x cash-out cap, offer terms that disagree with the T&C on game weighting, and limits you cannot set yourself.

1/12Spin Samba meets 1 of our 12 points

Paper

  • ?Licence shown as active on the regulator's own siteThe regulator's two pages disagree. The CGA certificate behind the footer seal shows spinsamba.com, licence OGL/2024/494/0671, status Active (11 Oct 2026); the regulator's own registry of 9 Oct 2026 lists the same licence as expiring 4 Jun 2026 with status Assessment in progress. With the regulator saying two things, the licence earns no point.
  • ✗Operator, company number and address published in the termsThe T&C name Luckland Group B.V. and registration number 136509, but its only address is "Gebouw, Curaçao" (Dutch for building), with no street or town.
  • ✓New Zealand is not on the restricted countries listNew Zealand is not on the T&C 1.1 list (Curaçao, the Netherlands, the United States, UN-sanctioned and FATF-blacklisted countries) or the 4.1 list (Israel, the United Kingdom, the United States).
  • ✗No one-sided rules on wording or the final say in disputesWelcome terms: in a dispute all decisions made by SpinSamba are final; T&C 12.2 make refund decisions final with no appeal. There is no translation clause.

Money

  • ?NZD account availableNo page names the account currency. The link passes currency=NZD and the lobby banner shows NZ$, but the T&C and Banking page print bare $ and the VIP page AU$.
  • ✗No casino fees on deposits or withdrawalsT&C 6.9: a 40($) fee on every bank transfer; the Banking page lists $30 fees on crypto payouts.
  • ✗Withdrawals processed within 24 hours (published figure)T&C 6.5: the usual processing time is 96 hours; 24 hours applies only to the first withdrawal, as a special offer that can be revoked.
  • ✗No rule to wager your own deposit before cashing outT&C 6.11: all deposits must be turned over in full before a withdrawal.

Bonus

  • ✗Welcome bonus does not cost more than it gives (NZ$100 test)-NZ$200 left of a NZ$100 bonus after wagering.
  • ✗No cash-out cap on winnings from the welcome bonusWelcome terms and T&C 7.9: the most you can withdraw from a welcome bonus is 20 times the deposit.
  • ✗Offer card and bonus terms describe the same offerThe welcome terms count other games 100% towards wagering, T&C 7.7 count them 10%. The home page text calls the package 100% up to $1,000 + 200 free spins, the promotions card up to $3,000 + 150 free spins, and the lobby first showed that card in euros.

Protection

  • ✗Deposit limits, breaks and self-exclusion explained publiclyDeposit, loss, wagering and session limits are only named in a list on the Responsible Gaming page; a break and an indefinite suspension through support are explained on the Self-Exclusion page.

One point for each question the published documents answer in the player's favour. Unclear answers score nothing until the casino clarifies them in writing.

What the welcome offer is worth on a hundred dollar deposit

Code SPIN100 gives 100% up to $1,000 plus 50 free spins on Cash Bandits 3, from a $20 deposit. The wagering is 40x on the deposit plus the bonus, not on the bonus alone. Put in NZ$100 and you get a NZ$100 bonus, then NZ$8,000 of bets to clear it. Pokies return about 96% on average, so each NZ$1 wagered costs roughly 4 cents. At that rate NZ$8,000 would cost more than the whole NZ$200 balance, and the bonus itself is deducted at withdrawal, so our test leaves you around NZ$200 down. You have 30 days, which is about 267 spins a day at NZ$1.

More handbrakes follow. The most you can withdraw from a welcome bonus is 20 times your deposit, so a NZ$100 deposit can become NZ$2,000 at most, however well it runs. The bonus is play-only and is deducted from your withdrawal once wagering is done. Bets are capped at $5 while bonus funds are in play (T&C 7.11). Run the figures through our wagering calculator before you commit.

Sticky bonus: the bonus itself never leaves- NZ$100

Costs much more than it gives (-200% of the bonus survives its own wagering)

Time on the clock
30 days = about 267 spins a day at NZ$1
Biggest bet while wagering
$5 a bet with bonus funds (T&C 7.11 counts bigger bets as bonus abuse; the site does not say which dollar)
Most you can cash out
NZ$2,000 - the most you can withdraw from a welcome bonus is 20 times the deposit (welcome terms, T&C 7.9)
Free spins (not counted above)
50 on Cash Bandits 3 with each code (150 in all); spin winnings capped at $100 and wagered 40x unless stated otherwise (T&C 7.12); the value of a spin is not stated

How the test works: we put NZ$100 through the offer exactly as its terms read. Pokies pay back about 96 cents per dollar staked on average, so every NZ$1 of wagering costs about 4 cents. What is left of the bonus after that cost is its real value. It is an average, not a forecast: a single session can land far above or below it.

The headline match and the small print pull in opposite directions. A larger deposit makes the turnover larger without changing the maths, and the cap trims a good run anyway. If you still want the bonus at Spin Samba, enter the code before you deposit (T&C 7.13), keep bets at $5 or less, and remember the cashier’s Redeem Coupon section has a “Cancel bonus” button you can press before you wager.

Each offer is put through the same test: NZ$100, or the offer's minimum deposit if that is higher, and an average cost of 4 cents per NZ$1 wagered on pokies.

SPIN150 and SPIN200 carry the same 40x on deposit plus bonus, so a bigger match only adds turnover: NZ$250 and NZ$300 of average cost against NZ$150 and NZ$200 of bonus. The Tuesday reload, RELOAD88, is the closest offer to break-even at 10x, and it still costs more than it gives: NZ$75.20 against NZ$88. The Royal Card at 15x is next closest, and it needs three deposits first. The Master Game sits at 30x. The eZeeWallet code EZEE100 mentions a 5x requirement on bonus winnings and never says 5x of what, so we scored it unclear. The cashback offers sit at 50x.

Paying in and cashing out from New Zealand

No page at Spin Samba tells you which currency a New Zealand account is held in. Our link passes currency=NZD and the lobby banner advertises NZ$, but the T&C and the Banking page print bare $ amounts “or currency equivalent”, and a euro copy of the T&C sits behind the lobby’s Legal Notices button. Casinos that do confirm an NZD account are on our NZD casinos page.

The methods listed are Visa, Mastercard, eZeeWallet, bank wire, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. Deposits start at $20, and Visa, Mastercard, eZeeWallet and all three cryptocurrencies credit instantly. Payouts start at $100 on every method that pays one. Bank wire carries a $40 fee per payout; the three cryptocurrencies carry $30. The usual processing time is 96 hours (T&C 6.5), and a first withdrawal inside 24 hours is a special offer the casino can revoke. Mastercard and eZeeWallet deposits come back as a bank transfer instead. The cashier only opens after sign-up, so we could not see the live version.

The limits on the way out

At most 2,000($) leaves each week, and larger requests are paid in weekly instalments of 2,000($) (T&C 6.7). The T&C do not exempt progressive jackpots, and the lobby shows jackpots above $2.7 million. Before any withdrawal you must have turned over every deposit in full (6.11), deposited at least 20($) (6.12), and sent certified or notarised ID copies (6.4). Withdraw before your deposit is played through and the casino may charge its costs to your account (7.14).

Per week
2,000($), larger requests paid in weekly instalments of 2,000($) (T&C 6.7, worded for "the VIP classes")

Who runs it and who licenses it

Spin Samba is operated by Luckland Group B.V., company number 136509, at “Gebouw, Curaçao” (Dutch for building), with no street or town. The licence is Curaçao Gaming Authority OGL/2024/494/0671, granted 4 Jun 2025, and the certificate behind the footer seal shows it as Active for spinsamba.com. The regulator’s own Online Gaming License Registry, updated 9 Oct 2026, lists the same licence at entry 211 as expiring 4 Jun 2026 with status Assessment in progress, and it warns that its overviews do not guarantee a licence is currently valid. The certificate and the registry are both the regulator, and they disagree. In plain terms, your contract is with an offshore company under a Curaçao licence. Our gambling law page goes through what that means. The T&C exist in two copies that differ on the bank transfer fee and the restricted country list.

Checked 11 Oct 2026: we followed the licence seal in the footer of www.spinsamba.com to the regulator's certificate page (the seal points to cert.gcb.cw, which forwards to cert.cga.cw). It certifies that spinsamba.com is operated by Luckland Group B.V., company number 136509, under licence OGL/2024/494/0671, granted on 04/06/2025, current status Active. The regulator's own Online Gaming License Registry (PDF from its License register page, last updated 9 Oct 2026) lists the same licence at entry 211 as issued 4-Dec-25, expiring 4-Jun-26, status Assessment in progress, and the regulator says these overviews do not guarantee that a licence is currently valid. Luckland Group B.V. is not on the regulator's enforcement register (updated 14 Sep 2026). Open the certificate

Limits and breaks you can set

The Spin Samba responsible gaming pages name deposit limits, loss limits, wagering limits and session reminders in a list, and how to set any of them is not explained. A cooling-off break goes through customer support, and the Self-Exclusion page suggests at least 7 days; you cannot log in while it runs, and the account reopens when it ends. An indefinite suspension also goes through support. The help services named are Gambling Therapy, Gamblers Anonymous, BeGambleAware and NCPG, and none of them is a New Zealand service. We did not open an account, so the settings inside the account area were not seen.

Pokies and studios in the lobby

The Spin Samba lobby is an RTG one, with pokies, progressives, table and specialty games and a small live dealer section of four games (Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Super6) that is real money only and takes no bonuses. No studio is named on the public pages, so we name RealTime Gaming only because the lobby code and game files are labelled RTG. The welcome spins are on Cash Bandits 3, and no stake is stated for them. The Fairness page says the games are audited by Gaming Laboratories International. Browse our pokies section if you are still choosing a game.

  • RealTime Gaming

No public page names a game studio. The lobby our link opens is RTG software (its code calls itself RtgLobby and loads game files from folders marked rtg), and the Games page lists 83 titles such as Cash Bandits 3, Naughty or Nice III, Pig Winner and Fish Catch, 11 Oct 2026. The four live dealer games are not credited to a studio.

Clauses worth reading twice

A few clauses change the deal more than the headline does.

  1. The welcome codes are wagered 40 times on your deposit plus the bonus, not on the bonus alone. On a NZ$100 first deposit with SPIN100 that is NZ$8,000 of bets, and the bonuses are play-only.

To withdraw your winnings, you will have to wager a minimum of 40 times your deposit and the bonus amount.

Welcome Package terms on the promotions page (no clause numbers), 11 Oct 2026; the same rule in T&C 7.9
  2. Whatever you win with a welcome bonus, you can withdraw at most 20 times the deposit, so a 100 deposit can turn into 2,000 at most.

Maximum withdrawal limit for these bonuses is 20x the deposit amount.

Welcome Package terms on the promotions page, 11 Oct 2026; T&C 7.9 (dated 1 Oct 2021)
  3. The match bonus itself is taken back when you cash out: once wagering is done, the bonus amount is deducted from your withdrawal.

7.17 Match Deposit bonuses (Bonuses on top of Deposit) are submitted to a Withdrawal limit condition: The coupon amount given, will be deducted once a withdrawal request is made, only after completing the wagering.

    T&C 7.17, dated 1 Oct 2021 (read 10 and 11 Oct 2026)
  4. Every deposit has to be played through in full before you can ask for a withdrawal, bonus or not. Withdraw before that and the casino may charge its costs to your account (T&C 7.14).

6.11 All deposits to the casino must be turned over in full before requesting a withdrawal.

    T&C 6.11 and 7.14, dated 1 Oct 2021 (read 10 and 11 Oct 2026)
  5. Cashing out costs money: a 40($) fee on every bank transfer, and the Banking page adds $30 on Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin payouts. Mastercard and eZeeWallet deposits are paid back by bank transfer.

6.9 The minimum withdrawal amount via Bank Transfer is 100($) (or the equivalent amount in other currencies). A 40($) fee (or equivalent) will be applied to all bank transfer transactions.

    T&C 6.9, dated 1 Oct 2021; Banking page, 10 and 11 Oct 2026
  6. Payouts are slow and capped. The usual processing time is 96 hours (T&C 6.5), and at most 2,000($) leaves each week, with bigger wins paid in weekly instalments. The T&C do not exempt progressive jackpots, and the lobby shows jackpots above $2.7 million.

6.7 A maximum of 2,000($) can be withdrawn per week for the VIP classes, where withdrawal requests in excess of that will be processed in increments of 2,000($) per week until the request is fulfilled.

    T&C 6.5 and 6.7, dated 1 Oct 2021; jackpot amounts in the lobby, 10 and 11 Oct 2026
  7. Go 180 days without a deposit and the playable balance is removed from your account.

4.3.5 If no (further) deposit has been made for a period of 180 days, the playable balance will be removed/deleted from the player account.

    T&C 4.3.5, dated 1 Oct 2021 (read 10 and 11 Oct 2026)
  8. In a dispute over the welcome package the casino's own decision is final, and refund decisions cannot be appealed (T&C 12.2). An outside arbitrator is used only if the casino chooses to (T&C 4.4).

In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by SpinSamba will be final.

Welcome Package terms on the promotions page, 11 Oct 2026; T&C 4.4 and 12.2
  9. The lobby our link opens is labelled for New Zealand, but its Legal Notices button opens a second copy of the T&C from the euro site, with amounts in euros and a 10 euro bank transfer fee instead of 40 dollars. The site does not say which copy applies to an NZ account.

6.9 The minimum withdrawal amount via Bank Transfer is 100(€) (or the equivalent amount in other currencies). A 10(€) fee (or equivalent) will be applied to all bank transfer transactions.

T&C copy on eu.spinsamba.com opened by the lobby's Legal Notices button, 11 Oct 2026
  10. You can ask support for a break of any length (the casino suggests at least 7 days) or an indefinite suspension, and you cannot log in until it ends.

Contact our customer support to suspend your account for a definite or an indefinite period of time.

  • We did not deposit or withdraw real money at Spin Samba. The payout times on this page are the casino's published figures, not our own timings.
  • We did not open an account, so the limit and self-exclusion settings inside the account area were not seen.
  • Which currency a New Zealand account is held in. Our link passes currency=NZD and the lobby banner shows NZ$, but every rule is printed in bare $, the lobby's Promotions view first loaded a euro page with currency=AUD in its address, and the VIP page prints AU$ for its first level.
  • Which copy of the T&C applies to an NZ account. The lobby's Terms and Conditions button opens the dollar copy on www.spinsamba.com, the site version marked en-AU; its Legal Notices button opens the euro copy on eu.spinsamba.com. Both are dated 1 Oct 2021 and differ on the bank transfer fee and the restricted country list.
  • Whether licence OGL/2024/494/0671 is current beyond the certificate page: the certificate says Active, while the regulator's registry (updated 9 Oct 2026) lists an expiry of 4 Jun 2026 with assessment in progress.
  • Payout times by method: the Banking page gives none; the T&C give 96 hours as usual and the VIP page 12 to 96 hours by level.
  • Whether the 2,000($) weekly cap in T&C 6.7, worded for "the VIP classes", applies to every player, and whether it applies to progressive jackpot wins.
  • The value of a welcome free spin: no stake is stated for the Cash Bandits 3 spins.
  • Game studios: no public page names one; we name RealTime Gaming only because the lobby code and game files are labelled RTG.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay appear in a cashback offer on the promotions page but not on the Banking page; the methods an NZ cashier offers were not visible without an account.
  • Support response times and how long ID checks take in practice.

Frequently asked questions

Is Spin Samba licensed?

It holds Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/494/0671, granted 4 Jun 2025. The certificate behind the footer seal shows it as Active, while the regulator’s own registry lists the same licence as expiring 4 Jun 2026 with assessment in progress. With the regulator saying two things, the licence earns no point in our check.

Can I hold my Spin Samba account in local dollars?

Not confirmed. Our link passes currency=NZD and the lobby banner advertises NZ$, so it looks that way. But no page names the account currency, the T&C and Banking page print bare $ amounts, and the VIP page prints AU$ for its first level. If the currency matters to you, ask support before you deposit.

Is the Spin Samba welcome bonus worth taking?

On our NZ$100 test, no. SPIN100 gives a NZ$100 bonus against NZ$8,000 of wagering, which costs about NZ$200 on average at a 96% return. The cash-out is capped at 20 times your deposit, and the bonus itself is deducted when you cash out. The Tuesday reload at 10x is the closest of the offers to break-even.

How long do Spin Samba withdrawals take and what do they cost?

The published usual processing time is 96 hours (T&C 6.5), with a first withdrawal inside 24 hours as a special offer that can be revoked. Bank wire costs $40 per payout and Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin cost $30 each. Those are the casino’s figures, not our timings. We did not withdraw.

I’m not your pastor, and I’m not here to save souls. But after years studying digital user behavior, working inside a gaming startup, and seeing NZ gambling law, RNG fairness, and bonus T&Cs twisted to hook players, I can’t sit quiet. I know how mobile casinos are built — I helped design some of the hooks. Now I tear them apart, call out the scams, and show players (especially the young ones) where the fun stops and the trap begins.
