✓ on record ~ partly or unclear ✗ missing or against you ? not checked
Spin Samurai runs an NZD cashier, takes cards from NZ$15, adds vouchers, Apple Pay and seven coins, and shows an active licence when you follow the seal in its footer to the regulator.
The catches are in the paperwork. Every welcome deposit carries 40x wagering, a €5,000 cap covers winnings from your first three deposits, each deposit must be played three times before it leaves, and the welcome terms exist in three versions. We read the Terms and Conditions and the bonus terms in full, opened the payments page as a New Zealand visitor, followed the licence seal to the regulator and ran the value test on paper. We did not deposit and we did not play for real money.
Where it lands
Spin Samurai suits players who want everything in NZD and do not mind an offshore licence. It is harder to like if you expect bonus terms to agree with each other, or a first withdrawal inside a day.
Good fit if:
- You want an NZD account, a card deposit from NZ$15 and a cash-out from NZ$30.
- You like a long studio list, from BGaming and Novomatic to Spribe and live tables.
- You use crypto and want a payout method the casino lists as instant.
Think twice if:
- You want a welcome bonus worth more than it costs. At 40x, it is not.
- You hope to win big from the first three deposits, because €5,000 is the ceiling.
- You deposit with crypto and expect limits, breaks and self-exclusion to cover it.

How it scored on the twelve-point check
Twelve yes or no questions, each answered from the casino’s published documents rather than from a play session. Unclear answers score nothing. Spin Samurai comes out at 5/12. It earned points for an active licence on the regulator’s own site, for publishing the operator’s company number and address, for leaving New Zealand off the restricted list, for the NZD account, and for explaining deposit limits, breaks and self-exclusion in public. It dropped points on the sole-and-final-authority clause, on server logs that settle game disputes, on a processing fee hidden behind a “free” cashier, on 72 hours of processing, on the three-times deposit rule, on a welcome bonus that costs more than it pays, on the €5,000 cap on winnings from the first three deposits and on welcome terms that exist in three versions. The method behind the score is set out in how we review casinos.

Protection
- ✓Deposit limits, breaks and self-exclusion explained publiclyResponsible Gambling Policy 2.1 and 2.2: deposit, loss, wager and session limits, cooling-off and self-exclusion for a fixed time or indefinitely.
One point for each question the published documents answer in the player's favour. Unclear answers score nothing until the casino clarifies them in writing.
What the welcome offer is worth on NZ$100
Ask Spin Samurai for the welcome package and the cards say 100% up to NZ$1,000 plus 50 spins on the first deposit, 75% up to NZ$1,500 on the second and 100% up to NZ$2,500 on the third, each at 40x the bonus. Take the smallest useful test: NZ$100 in, NZ$100 bonus, and 40x means NZ$4,000 of bets before any of it is yours.
Pokies return about 96% on average, so every NZ$1 wagered costs roughly 4 cents. Run NZ$4,000 through and the average bill is about NZ$160. That is more than the bonus you started with, leaving the offer at minus NZ$60. The clock bites too: the welcome terms give no period, so the default 14 days applies and you would need about 286 spins a day at NZ$1. The home page text says 7 days instead. The default maximum bet is 7.5 NZD, and welcome spin winnings are capped at 75 NZD.
| You deposit | NZ$100 |
|---|---|
| Bonus at 100% | + NZ$100 |
| Wagering: 40x on bonus only | NZ$4,000 to turn over |
| Average cost of that play (96% RTP pokies) | - NZ$160 |
| Bonus value left | -NZ$60 |
Costs much more than it gives (-60% of the bonus survives its own wagering)
- Time on the clock
- 14 days = about 286 spins a day at NZ$1
- Biggest bet while wagering
- 7.5 NZD a bet, the default for all bonuses (bonus terms, General)
- Most you can cash out
- T&C 11.7 cap the winnings from your first three deposits at €5,000 in total, bonus or not (no NZD figure given); welcome free spin winnings are capped at 75 NZD (bonus terms, Welcome Package)
- Free spins (not counted above)
- 50 on the offer card; the bonus terms name Elvis Frog TRUEWAYS and Aztec Magic Deluxe (BGaming), 3 days to activate and 7 days to play; winnings capped at 75 NZD; the spin value and the wagering on spin winnings are not stated
How the test works: we put NZ$100 through the offer exactly as its terms read. Pokies pay back about 96 cents per dollar staked on average, so every NZ$1 of wagering costs about 4 cents. What is left of the bonus after that cost is its real value. It is an average, not a forecast: a single session can land far above or below it.
Then clause 11.7: whatever you win from your first three deposits, bonus or no bonus, can only be cashed out up to €5,000 in total, and anything above that is removed from the account. The offer cards and the Bonus Terms page agree on 100% up to NZ$1,000 at 40x, but the terms printed under those same cards describe 125% up to 150 NZD at 45x, and the FAQ says 125% up to €100. So screenshot what the cashier shows you before you deposit. Skrill and Neteller deposits get no welcome bonus at all. Our wagering calculator will run your own numbers.

The rest of the bonus shelf
The second and third welcome deposits follow the same maths, and both count towards that €5,000 ceiling. Past the welcome, Spin Samurai fills the shelf with reloads, spins and a lottery.
| Offer | Deposit | Bonus | Wagering to clear | Value left | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome package, 1st deposit100% up to NZ$1,000 + 50 free spins, 40x the bonus, from a NZ$15 deposit | NZ$100 | NZ$100 | NZ$4,000 | -NZ$60 | Costs much more than it gives |
| Welcome package, 2nd deposit75% up to NZ$1,500 + 50 free spins, 40x the bonus, from a NZ$15 deposit | NZ$100 | NZ$75 | NZ$3,000 | -NZ$45 | Costs much more than it gives |
| Welcome package, 3rd deposit100% up to NZ$2,500 + 50 free spins, 40x the bonus, from a NZ$15 deposit | NZ$100 | NZ$100 | NZ$4,000 | -NZ$60 | Costs much more than it gives |
| Friday boost50% up to NZ$150 + 30 free spins, 45x the bonus, every Friday after the welcome package | NZ$100 | NZ$50 | NZ$2,250 | -NZ$40 | Costs much more than it gives |
Each offer is put through the same test: NZ$100, or the offer's minimum deposit if that is higher, and an average cost of 4 cents per NZ$1 wagered on pokies.
The Friday boost is 50% up to NZ$150 with 30 spins, at 45x with winnings capped at €50, so even a full NZ$150 bonus cannot pay out more than €50. The weekend codes DOJO and SENSEI, the Top Slot bonus, the Monday spins and the daily mystery spins are free spins only, at 45x where written terms exist, and the weekend and Monday offers have no written terms in the bonus terms we read. VIP daily deposit bonuses carry 40x again and are aimed at players who put in over NZ$3,000 on a first deposit. Our reload bonus page covers weekly offers in general.

Paying in and cashing out from New Zealand
As a New Zealand visitor the Banking page shows NZD amounts on both tabs. Visa, Mastercard and Maestro start at NZ$15 and top out at NZ$4,000 a deposit. Neosurf and Flexepin start at NZ$20, Apple Pay at NZ$25 with a NZ$1,100 ceiling, and ecoPayz and Skrill at NZ$30. Seven coins are listed, from Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to Litecoin, Dogecoin, XRP, Ethereum and USDT. Every deposit method is marked free and instant.
The withdrawal tab at Spin Samurai is a shorter list: ecoPayz, Inpay bank transfer and the coins, from NZ$30, each marked instant. The terms are cooler, promising processing within 72 hours of approval and 3 business days for a bank transfer. T&C 11.3 describe card payouts back to your card up to your net deposits, but no card row appears on the withdrawal tab. One rule catches people out: each deposit has to be wagered three times before withdrawal, or the casino can charge a processing fee or refuse the cash-out. If speed matters, see our fast payout casinos.

The casino's Banking page as shown to a New Zealand visitor on 10 and 11 Oct 2026 (deposit tab: 13 methods; withdrawal tab: ecoPayz, Inpay bank transfer and 7 coins). Fees and times are the casino's own figures; the T&C say withdrawals are processed within 72 hours of approval (11.6) and let the casino charge a processing fee if a deposit was not wagered three times (9.8). T&C 11.3 describe Visa and Mastercard payouts, but no card row is on the withdrawal tab.

Where the limits sit on the way out
The daily cap is NZ$1,500, the weekly cap NZ$7,500 over a rolling seven days, and the monthly cap NZ$22,500. A bigger winning balance can be paid in monthly instalments of up to NZ$22,500. Per transaction, ecoPayz and Inpay allow NZ$6,000, and the terms let the casino split larger sums. Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full and sit outside those caps. VIP levels can have their limits changed at the casino’s discretion, with no figures published.

Who runs it and who licenses it
The operator named in the terms is Saphirix Solutions SRL, company number 3-102-933997, at Ly Center, Avenidas 8 y 10, Calle 39, Los Yoses, San Pedro, Montes de Oca, San Jose, Costa Rica. The licence is Tobique Gaming Commission 0000091, and the footer seal we followed on 11 Oct 2026 landed on the regulator’s validation page. It names the same operator and address, lists www.spinsamurai.com as the registered website and shows the status as VALID, but prints no licence number and no grant date, so the number comes from the terms and the footer. The seal link carries a stamp that expires after about twenty minutes, which is why we do not link to it. Complaints go to support first, then to the EGIS dispute service, with arbitration in Costa Rica and a one-year window to claim. The casino’s server logs are final in a game dispute, ID checks can run to 30 working days, and several money rules are written only in euros. An offshore licence means the regulator is not in New Zealand and cannot act for you here, which is worth knowing before you deposit; our NZ gambling law page explains why.

Checked 11 Oct 2026: we followed the licence seal in the footer of the casino's New Zealand site to the regulator's validation page at validate.thetgc.ca (generated on 11 Oct 2026). It names SAPHIRIX SOLUTIONS SRL at the same Los Yoses, San Jose, Costa Rica address as the T&C, lists www.spinsamurai.com (the domain our affiliate link landed on) as the registered website and shows operating status VALID under the Tobique Gaming Act 2023. The validation page prints no licence number and no grant date; the number 0000091 comes from T&C 1.1 and the site footer. The seal link carries a stamp that expires after about 20 minutes, so we do not link to it.

Limits and breaks you can set
The public Responsible Gambling page covers deposit limits by day, week or month, a loss limit based on your deposits, a wager limit over a chosen timeframe, session reminders and a cooling-off break where deposits and promotions stop but withdrawals still work. Self-exclusion runs for a fixed time or permanently through support. Crypto slips past the lot: deposit limits and cooling-off breaks do not cover crypto transactions, and self-exclusion does not apply to crypto deposits either. Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare and Gambling Therapy are named. No New Zealand service is listed. More in our safe casinos guide.
- ✓Deposit limitsPer day, week or month. Crypto deposits are not covered; the casino suggests other limits for crypto (also T&C 10.5).
- ✓Loss or wager limitsA loss limit based on your deposits and a wager limit over a chosen timeframe.
- ✓Session remindersA time cap for each session.
- ✓Cooling-off breakA temporary break with no deposits or promotions; withdrawals still possible. No durations given. Crypto transactions are not covered.
- ✓Self-exclusionTemporary or permanent, for a fixed time or indefinitely, by contacting support; it does not apply to crypto deposits, although the account stays blocked.
- ~Help services listedGamblers Anonymous, GamCare and Gambling Therapy. No New Zealand service is named.

Pokies and studios in the lobby
Spin Samurai’s provider list leans on slots. BGaming, Playson, Booongo, Yggdrasil, Novomatic and Betsoft lead it, with Pragmatic Play, Evoplay, Platipus, Mascot and Gamzix among the rest. Spribe covers the crash-style games, and live tables come from Imagine Live, Vivo Gaming and Lucky Streak, with Evolution also in the list. Play’n GO, NetEnt and Hacksaw Gaming do not appear in the provider list. We saw no RTP figures published, so payout rates are hard to compare before you play. The lobby a New Zealand visitor sees includes Popular in Australia, Hot, New, Slots, Live Casino, Bonus Wagering, Jackpot Games, Bonus Buy and Megaways, plus an installable app. More on pokies in our pokies section.

Clauses worth reading twice
A few lines do more work than the headline numbers. We quote them below, and they are worth a minute before you deposit.
Whatever you win from your first three deposits, bonus or no bonus, can only be cashed out up to €5,000 in total, and anything above that is removed from your account. That covers the whole welcome package, so its NZ$5,000 headline sits next to a €5,000 ceiling on winnings. Your own unspent deposits stay withdrawable.
The maximum aggregate amount of winnings attributable to the Player's first three (3) deposits that shall be eligible for withdrawal is €5,000 in total, regardless of whether any bonuses were credited, activated, accepted, declined, forfeited, or used in connection with such deposits.
T&C 11.7, version 1.0 of 24.09.2026 (read 10 and 11 Oct 2026)The welcome package is described three different ways. The offer cards and the Bonus Terms page give 100% up to NZ$1,000 + 50 spins, then 75% up to NZ$1,500 and 100% up to NZ$2,500, each at 40x the bonus. The terms printed under those same cards on the Bonuses page describe a 125% first deposit bonus of up to 150 NZD at 45x, and the FAQ says 125% up to €100. Take a screenshot of what the cashier offers before you deposit.
2) To get the 125% First deposit bonus, your deposit shall be at least 10 EUR/USD; 15 AUD/CAD/NZD; [...] Maximum first deposit bonus amount is 100 EUR/USD; 150 AUD/CAD/NZD; [...] To wager the bonus, you need to make bets for an amount 45 times the bonus amount.
Terms under the offer cards on the Bonuses page, Welcome Package 2), read 11 Oct 2026; Bonus Terms and Conditions, Welcome Package 1); FAQEvery deposit has to be played through three times before you can withdraw it, bonus or not. Ask for it back sooner and the casino can charge a processing fee or refuse the withdrawal, even though the Banking page lists every method as free.
9.8. Any deposit must be wagered three (3) times the deposited amount before you may withdraw those funds. [...] The Casino reserves the right to charge a processing fee or refuse withdrawal if wagering requirements are unmet.
T&C 9.8, version 1.0 of 24.09.2026The Friday boost (50% up to NZ$150 + 30 spins) carries 45x and caps winnings at €50 or the equivalent, so even a full NZ$150 bonus can pay out no more than €50.
Maximum winnings, as well as withdrawal limits for Friday Bonus is €50 or equivalent in another currency.
Bonus Terms and Conditions, Friday Bonus (read 11 Oct 2026)In a dispute over a game result the casino's own server records decide, and the casino keeps the final say on whether you broke a rule (T&C 7.8).
In any dispute regarding game results, the Casino’s server logs and records are final and binding.
T&C 15.3, version 1.0 of 24.09.2026ID checks can take up to 30 working days once you have sent everything, and a withdrawal may be cancelled if the casino cannot reach you by phone or email within two weeks (T&C 8.4).
5. Consideration timelines for KYC documents could be up to 30 working days from the moment when the client provided all requested documents.
KYC/AML page, point 5, read 11 Oct 2026; T&C 8.4Crypto deposits slip past the safety tools: deposit limits and cooling-off breaks do not apply to them, and self-exclusion does not cover crypto deposits either.
Please note that crypto transactions are not subject to cooling-off limits.
Responsible Gambling Policy 2.1 (version 1.02 of 24.09.2026), read 11 Oct 2026; also T&C 10.5Leave money in an account you stop using and after 12 months the casino can take a monthly fee from it until the balance is gone.
Once your Account becomes inactive, we reserve the right to charge a monthly dormancy fee of €25 (or currency equivalent), deducted from your remaining balance.
T&C 12.1, version 1.0 of 24.09.2026Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full, outside the NZ$1,500 a day, NZ$7,500 a week and NZ$22,500 a month withdrawal caps.
Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full and do not count toward these limits.
T&C 11.7, version 1.0 of 24.09.2026If support cannot settle a complaint you can take it to an outside dispute service, EGIS, which works under the Tobique Gaming Commission.

What we could not check
Some things only show up once real money moves, and at Spin Samurai we did not move any. Where a figure or a behaviour stayed out of reach, we have listed it as unverified rather than guessed at it.
- We did not deposit or withdraw real money at Spin Samurai. The payout times on this page are the casino's published figures, not our own timings.
- We did not open an account, so the limit and self-exclusion settings inside the account area were not seen.
- Which welcome offer the cashier actually gives. The offer cards and the Bonus Terms page agree (100% up to NZ$1,000 + 50 spins, 40x), but the terms printed under the cards on the Bonuses page describe 125% up to 150 NZD at 45x (with a 100% second and an 80% third deposit bonus and a 50% highroller option), the FAQ says 125% up to €100, and the home page text says 40x with 7 days. The bonus terms also say the size and minimum deposit can change if you register through a partner site.
- The NZD value of the €5,000 cap on winnings from the first three deposits (T&C 11.7) and of the €50 Friday cap. The terms under the offer cards give 5,000 NZD as the most you can withdraw from any welcome cash bonus.
- How long the welcome bonus stays active: the welcome terms give no period, so the default of 14 days applies (bonus terms, General), while the home page text says 7 days.
- The value of each welcome free spin, and the wagering on welcome spin winnings, are not stated.
- Card payouts: T&C 11.3 describe Visa and Mastercard withdrawals, but the withdrawal tab of the Banking page lists only ecoPayz, Inpay bank transfer and crypto. Skrill, Neosurf, Flexepin and Apple Pay appear only on the deposit tab.
- Payout speed in practice: the Banking page lists every withdrawal method as instant, the home page text says most withdrawals are sorted within 24 hours, the FAQ says an approved cashout is forwarded instantly, and T&C 11.6 say within 72 hours of approval (bank transfers within 3 business days, 11.10). The Skrill and Ethereum rows show no processing time.
- The payment list in the FAQ (Neteller, Paysafecard, iDebit, Instadebit, SOFORT, Zimpler, Trustly, iDEAL and others) does not match the Banking page shown to a New Zealand visitor; the footer also shows a Paysafecard logo that is not in the Banking list.
- The weekend (codes DOJO and SENSEI) and Monday free spin offers on the Bonuses page have no written terms in the bonus terms we read.
- Who processes Paysafe payments: T&C 10.1 name Vixatrix Limited, the bonus terms name Dama N.V. Neither is the operator named in the T&C.
- Support response times and how long ID checks take in practice.

Yes, by the Tobique Gaming Commission under licence 0000091, and the regulator’s validation page showed the status as VALID when we checked on 11 Oct 2026. The operator is Saphirix Solutions SRL in San Jose, Costa Rica. The validation page itself prints no licence number or grant date; those come from the terms and the site footer.
Is the Spin Samurai welcome bonus worth taking?
On our NZ$100 test, it is not. A NZ$100 bonus at 40x means NZ$4,000 of bets, about NZ$160 of average cost at a 96% return, which leaves you roughly NZ$60 down before luck enters the picture. The 14-day default and the 7.5 NZD maximum bet make the finish line harder. If you still want it, check which version the cashier shows you.
Is there a cap on what I can win at Spin Samurai?
There is, for anything won from your first three deposits. T&C 11.7 cap the cash-out from those deposits at €5,000 in total, bonus or no bonus, and anything above is removed from the account. Welcome spin winnings are capped at 75 NZD. Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full and sit outside the withdrawal limits.
Do I have to wager my deposit before withdrawing at Spin Samurai?
Yes. Every deposit has to be played through three times before a withdrawal, with or without a bonus. Ask for it back sooner and the casino can charge a processing fee or refuse the withdrawal.
